This Is Us is simply one of the best shows on TV.
It’s full of heart wrenching storylines and an incredible diverse and talented cast.
One of the stars of the show is child star Lonnie Chavis. The 10-year-old plays a young Randall Pearson in the hit NBC show.
But with success comes unwanted trolls; and the young boy has had to defend himself against the keyboard warriors.
‘Fix Your Heart’
In a video posted on Instagram, Chavis showed he is wise beyond his years. Internet trolls poked fun at him due to the gap in his front teeth.
But the award-winning actor took to Instagram on Monday to share a video addressing the jokes made about his appearance.
He began by saying: ‘I could get my gap fixed. Braces can fix this, but like, can you fix your heart, though? ‘
‘There are kids out there killing themselves just because of y’all hating and trolling and doing just crazy stuff.’
Lonnie added: ‘I mean, It’s stupid. Is it fun? No. It hurts people. People kill themselves, and you’re the one who’s making them doing it. Fix your heart, though. For real.’
‘Be Who You Want To Be’
Lonnie then told his 150k followers that he is out here living his best life and is happy.
‘I’m happy that I can handle this. I can handle this. I’m not tripping. But there are kids out here. If y’all kids are watching this, don’t trip.’
‘Be who you want to be. Do what you want to do. Do you. Be you. Believe in yourself.’
In the show Lonnie’s character Randall is adopted by Rebecca and Jack Pearson (played by Mandy Moore and Milo Ventimiglia.) The older Randall is played by Golden Globe winning actor Sterling K. Brown.
This Is Us has been renewed for a third season which is set to premiere September 25 on NBC.
