11-Year-Old Alaya High Is The Youngest Female Rapper To Secure A Record Deal

This little bundle of joy is about to slay your favorite radio station!

A few months ago Alaya High AKA #LayLay went viral for her supreme freestyle skills.

Now the 11-year-old has well and truly secured the bag! The teeny-bopper has signed with Empire, the label who also houses Snoop Dogg and Tyga. 

High is the youngest female rap artist since actress/rapper Raven Simone to land a major record deal.

Her Album Is On The Way

Lay Lay first came to social media attention after videos of her freestyling over the beat of BlocBoy JB’s track “Shoot” made their way onto the Gram. 

The little girl is seen confidently rapping while riding in the front seat of her dad’s car. Her viral video saw her spit impressive bars in celebration of a glowing report card.

Lay Lay was already a bit of a shining star in her home town of Atlanta. She made an appearance on the “The Frank Ski Morning Show,” a local radio program.

The stylish youngster told hosts that she grew up listening to her dad rap, while also singing and rapping along to different Eminem songs. 

Lay Lay now boasts over 200,000 Instagram followers and counts rappers T.I and Meek Mill as fans.
