Cardi B and Offset came through dripping as they hosted a baby shower to celebrate the impending birth of their baby girl. The newly confirmed married couple partied in Atlanta on Tuesday night with their family and friends as their princess is scheduled to arrive in July. Initially, Cardi planned on having 2 showers but her doctor restricted her from flying. To ensure that her loved ones were present, she flew up a bunch of her friends from New York. Singer Monica Brown and her husband Shannon were in attendance along with Rasheeda Frost from Love & Hip Hop, and Cardi’s sister, Hennessy Carolina, were all in attendance at the lavish affair.
A Look Inside Cardi B And Offset’s Baby Shower:
Dressed in a light pink bodycon dress, Cardi B looked gorgeous as she showed off her baby bump. The beautifully decorated facility was an explosion of pink as guest were invited to party with Bardi at her Bronx Fairy tale baby shower. By her side was her husband, Offset, as it was recently confirmed that the couple are already married. On Monday, Cardi took to Twitter to confirm that she married Offset in a small ceremony last September. Her announcement came after Offset called Cardi his “wife” in an acceptance speech for his group, Migos, at the BET Awards on Sunday.
Lucky for us, Cardi and Offset didn’t feel the need to keep their baby shower private. The couple hired a party planner but Cardi B was very much involved. Roses adorned many of the wall as they even had a giraffe in the shape of roses. Cardi and Offset even had a rose decorated cake on display. In addition to the room being filled with flowers, there was a shelf filled with children’s books for the guest to write messages in. The music was definitely in the house as some of their guests were snapped dancing and having a good time. When Cardi B spoke to Rolling Stones, she shared that she wanted to have a “lit” baby shower and have the event be a true dance party. Here’s what the “I Like It” singer revealed to Rolling Stone about her ideal shower.
I want a lit baby shower. My baby shower’s not starting at no 5:00. My sh*t is going to start at 9 p.m. because that’s how I celebrate, that’s how Caribbean people celebrate, Cardi said. I donN’t like baby showers that be at 5 p.m. in the backyard, eating, cooking hors d’oeuvres. Nah. Sh*t, I might even drink some red wine. Red wine’s healthy, right?
Cardi B Brought A Little Bit Of The Bronx To Atlanta:
Enlisting in the help from Karleen Roy, founder of the Vanity Group, Cardi B was able to create a Bronx themed baby shower right in Atlanta. We all know that Cardi is from New York and she made it known that she was from the “motherf*ckin’ Bronx”. Keeping her hometown in mind, Roy created a fancy Baby Bardi Bodega store along with an adorable pink New York 6 train with floral garbage cans on the streets.
