Cops Called After Viral Video Of 17-Year-Old ‘Beating His Girlfriend For Pulling A Breakup Prank On Him’

You may have seen a teenage boy in a viral video brutally beating his girlfriend up after she allegedly tried to play a breakup prank on him. After making its rounds on social media, the Waco Police Department issued a warrant for the arrest of 17-year-old Jamarion Reese. The police department received hundreds of phone calls from concerned members of the public who viewed the shocking video online.

After the video made it rounds on social media, the couple gloated about their new found infamy. 

But authorities have issued a “Class A” assault charge that could see Reese in jail for up to a year with a $4,000 fine. 

“The investigation determined this was a case of dating violence and they have had a dating relationship for the past 2 years,” Public Information Officer Sgt. Patrick Swanton said in the post that was updated from one on Monday. He continued: “Based on the investigation a warrant was issued for Reese’s arrest. We are aware of his current location and will be serving the warrant when possible.”
