Posted On : January 10, 2019

Love and Hip Hop star Cyn Santana received backlash after she made a comment about black men and their love for Spanish women. In an old interview with radio personality star, Angela Yee, Santana spoke on her attraction for black men during Yee’s podcast, Lip Service, as she is currently engaged to an African-American king of her own, Joe Budden.

Santana knows how the love of a black man can make a woman feel. When viewers first met Santana, she was dating Erica Mena as their relationship was featured on Love and Hip Hop NY. Many people believed that their lesbian relationship was just for television, however, the ladies insisted that their love was real. However, their love affair didn’t last long and their breakup was explosive. Santana allegedly found out that Mena was unfaithful to her. Shortly after their public break up, Mena moved on to Bow Wow and Santana moved on to Joe Budden. Their romance came as a surprise as they were both once on the same reality show looking for love. Rumors began to swirl that they were dating, and on Budden’s 36th birthday, Santana confirmed on Instagram that she was indeed dating the veteran rapper.

“Happy birthday baby. I just want you to know 3 things. 1) I appreciate you so much. 2) You are amazing and 3) You make me very happy. It’s funny the way life and God works… I’m just happy to be here. I hope you’re enjoying your day… You’re special @joebudden please don’t ever forget that,” Santana captioned the photo.

Feeling the love, Santana spoke about black men loving Spanish women and she rubbed twitter the wrong way.

I think they’re too emotional. … Black guys cater to us Spanish girls, especially. Like they…you know what, let me not get into it. Black girls gonna take it personal, they gonna be like ‘uhh uhhh!’ Anyway, I’m done with the papis.”
