Remember Sundy Carter? Her stint on “Basketball Wives” wasn’t lengthy, but her impact left a long lasting impression on most of the viewers. She was infamously known as the woman who got into a brief scuffle with co-star, Draya, and ended up with a black eye seconds later, which she proudly displayed like a badge of honor.

The latest news about her however, is far more traumatic than just a black eye from a girl fight. Sadly, it’s the topic of rape that is surrounding Sundy’s name at this time and it stems from the allegations she made in August 2018. Her claims are against a man she says drugged her, raped her and then posted video of it on social media. She’s just reportedly faced the man in court, after he was finally arrested and charged for several misdemeanors regarding the alleged incident. However, he is steadfastly claiming his innocence.

Via The Blast: The man who “Basketball Wives LA” star Sundy Carter accused of drugging and raping her was arrested by police and charged with revenge porn, and the reality star is set to face the suspect in court.

Back in August, Carter filed a police report with the Los Angeles Police Department accusing an acquaintance of drugging, raping her and then posting the video on social media. The incident allegedly went down in Philadelphia, so Carter met also with law enforcement out there and filed an additional report. On September 21, Philly cops arrested Demetrius Green in relation to Carter’s allegation.

He was charged with unlawful dissemination of an intimate image, possession of any instrument of crime with intent to employ it criminally, and harassment. All charges were misdemeanors.

In addition to Sundy’s claims, it was also reported that other sources familiar with the incident, claimed that she was sexually assaulted by Green as well. However, the District Attorney didn’t find enough sufficient evidence to officially charge Green with that – hence the misdemeanor charges.

Green bailed out of jail on a $2500 bond the same day he was booked.

In the midst of her fight, Sundy Carter released this statement about the alleged sexual assault:

At the time of his arrest, Carter told The Blast, “I never thought I would be apart of the #metoo movement,” adding, “No one should ever be taken advantage of, whether it’s revenge porn or someone slipping a substance in your drink. Unfortunately, I experienced this. I’ve pressed charges with hopes that justice will prevail.”

Sundy was flown to Philly to address Green in person about the incident, but at this point, it’s unclear what the outcome has been thus far. Whatever the truth is, we hope the proper justice is given.
