Posted On : October 26, 2017

You’ve seen Being Mary Jane, and you know her character. Well, to see her role manifest in real-life is just as interesting as the show, itself.

MIAMI, FLORIDA — As you know, Gabrielle Union has made headlines after discussing a certain portion of her new book, We’re Going To Need More Wine — “a powerful collection of essays about gender, sexuality, race, beauty, Hollywood, and what it means to be a modern woman,” as notes Harper Collins Publishers.

According to the publisher, Gabby’s book released on October 17. And we must say, sales have been incredibly successful so far. Gabrielle Union’s book hasn’t been out a full week yet, and she’s already received amazing news.

Yes, yes! Gabrielle Union is a New York Times Bestselling author. I mean, everyone loves gossip, right? This book is literally full of it.

Yeah, there are several life lessons to learn from Union’s essays in We’re Going To Need More Wine. However, you can bet that people are actually more nosy about her personal life.

According to the source, Phoebe Robinson — author of You Can’t Touch My Hair — mentions as follows regarding Gabby’s bestseller.

“It’s honest, raw, and funny. Union’s vulnerability about her flaws, mistakes, and also pride in her triumphs will not only make you feel as though you’re seeing yourself reflected, but will also inspire to be your most authentic self. It makes me excited to see where she is going next as a person and as an author. Give me book #2 already, please!”

Harper Collins Publishers also reports a 12-city tour for her book — which actually ends on October 28.

Yet, all in all, what do you think about Gabrielle Union’s reaction? Honestly, I would’ve had the same or better/worse if I had found out I was on a bestseller list. Totally reasonable.
