Police officers believe that Randall Freeman murdered his wife, Keila Freeman.

Friends and family members never gave up hope on finding 29 year-old, Keila Freeman. The married mother of 2 was reported missing on  September 5, 2016. Her face was shared all across social media as her loved ones asked for prayers in hopes of finding her alive. Her husband, 32 year-old Randall Freeman, was reportedly the last person to see her alive. Then, over a year and a half later, on December 19, 2017, the body of Keila Freeman was found.

What Happened To Keila Freeman?

Keila Freeman went missing in September of 2016. Her husband, Randall Freeman, told police that she allegedly came home but never walked inside. Her keys were later found, still in the ignition of her car. Her purse was found inside the home, along with her jeans and debit card, which were on the floor. Everyone thought it was strange that the mother of 2 would just up and leave her children whom she loved so much. Keila’s husband, Randall Freeman, was the main suspect in her disappearance. However, he was adamant that he had no idea where his wife could be.

Keila Freeman was reported missing on September 5, 2016 by her husband, Randall Freeman.

Interestingly enough, Randall Freeman was arrested for firebombing the home of a man who he thought was having an affair with his wife. It appears that Freeman was insanely jealous and was convinced that this man was sleeping with his wife. According to WREG, in July of 2015, Randall Freeman reportedly harassed the man with threatening comments and even went so far as to slash his tires. Consumed with anger, Randall Freeman allegedly used Molotov cocktails to firebomb the man’s home on three separate occasions. On the first and second occasions, there was very little damage. However, on September 4, 2016, a man resembling Freeman was seen on video throwing a Molotov cocktail threw the man’s window which resulted in severe fire damage. Five people were home at the time and thankfully no one was hurt.

Freeman was indicted on numerous charges including one count of aggravated arson, two counts of attempted aggravated arson, 13 counts of attempted first-degree murder, harassment and vandalism over $500.

Randall Freeman has been sitting behind bars on aggravated arson and attempted murder charges for allegedly firebombing a man’s home who he believed his wife was seeing. Nobody was injured during that incident.

According to FOX 13, Randall Freeman provided information about Keila’s whereabouts as part of an agreement. On December 19th, police officers found the remains of Keila Freeman in a woody Memphis area. Sadly, her body was found not far from her home. For Keila’s family and friends, the past year-and-a-half since she went missing has been tough and very emotional. Additionally, it was an even bigger let down that her husband was allegedly responsible for her death.

It’s just a really heartbreaking situation all the way around, said Keila’s best friend and sorority sister Ebonie Reed to WMC Action News. That was her husband and someone she loved and trust with her life. Just to know that he has known the whole time where she was and didn’t tell anyone, Reed said. It’s kind of like wow. I didn’t see this coming at all, Reed said. I’m shocked to know that he would have done that. During my times being around him, I never thought that it would ever be like this.

Police have not yet released how Keila was killed, but her husband’s lawyer said it is likely Randall will enter into a guilty plea when he’s due in court Friday. In the meantime, Keila’s friends are planning future events to honor Keila and raise money for her two children.
