These days Kenya Moore of the Real Housewives of Atlanta has a lot to be thankful for. She sat down with Jazzy Mcbee from Atlanta’s Streetz 94.5 radio station and she was a ray of sunshine as she spoke on things fans want to know.

On her daughter:

She is healthy and thriving, she has a big personality and she loves people, and she’s a happy baby. Always laughing and just giggling and smiling and observing.

On turning down RHOA season 11:

“I wasn’t fired. How you gonna get fired if you have an offer on the table? Never. […] It was several reasons, things did not come together for me the way they should. I didn’t want to jeopardize my pregnancy, I was really high risk. Every time I went to the doctor it was like you’re biting your nails.”

On returning to season 12:

“That hasn’t been confirmed, as of now, that’s just a rumor.”

When speaking on NeNe she said:

“I am not friends with NeNe right now. You can come in in peace like I did in the last episode, I came to support Cynthia at her launch party. I was cordial with everyone, I didn’t come to be combative and start drama but yet look at the fallout that ensued. I knew I didn’t do anything wrong, I came to support my friend. That’s their issue, not mine.”

Her relationship with Phaedra Parks:

“I don’t even wanna talk about ghosts, in my opinion, she’s long gone.”

Advice to single women and expectations to throw out the window:

What you expect from someone else you have to be willing to give…. I just want my man to take care of me and he has to be financially stable… inequity is unfair, you have to be bringing something to the table to be demanding that so ladies you have to be careful about having this laundry list of all you want.

Advice in a Marriage:

You gotta pick your battles, in a relationship– in a marriage every fight is not worth fighting, so sometimes you have to listen and wait later when things aren’t heated and just have a discussion— they want a friend, they want a home that’s peaceful and that’s their sanctuary.
