In Camden, Mississippi, a mother and daughter were found dead in their home. Falonda Jobe-Simpson and her daughter Davonda Washington were discovered by family members. Jobe-Simpson’s husband, Walter Simpson, was devastated over the loss of his family as he took to Facebook to ask for prayers. Now, he has been arrested for allegedly murdering them.

Mississippi Man Discovered His Wife And Stepdaughter Dead In Their Home :

Camden, Mississippi man Walter Simpson took to Facebook to ask for strength as his family was found murdered. Simpson thanked his friends and family members for asking about his wife and stepdaughter as he gave the impression that he was so upset. According to the Clarion Ledger , Simpson was devastated when he learned that his wife, Falonda Jobe-Simpson, 45, and his stepdaughter, Davonda Washington, 21, were dead. It appears as if Simpson found his wife and stepdaughter dead as he informed his brother-in-law, Jointer Jobe, about 10 p.m. on Tuesday. When Jointer Jobe went inside, he discovered the two women were dead.

I couldn’t believe it, but I looked in and sure enough, they were lying in a pool of blood, Jointer Jobe said. It looked like they had been burned. You could still recognize their faces, but they were all black (and their) clothes were burned off.

So filled with grief, Simpson mourned his family members publicly as his followers expressed their condolences. No one knew that Simpson was allegedly the culprit.

Simpson painted himself as a Christian man as he proclaimed his belief in God as well as he professed his love for his wife. Back in March, Simpson publicly acknowledged his wife as he referred to Jobe-Simpson as his better half. On March 12th, Simpson wished his wife a happy birthday as he described her as a beautiful, caring, loving, and an amazing woman. Walter and Falonda appeared to be as the perfect couple as their Facebook pages were filled with photos of themselves. Often times, the couple was pictured in church as Falonda Jobe-Simpson was a pastor at the Light House Without Walls Outreach Ministry. Washington attended Delta State University and was home for the summer.

Man Arrested For Reportedly Murdering His Wife And Stepdaughter:

Often times when people are found murdered, it it is not unusual in such a case for investigators to look at close family members, especially spouses or romantic partners. Many people had speculated about Simpson’s possible involvement in their deaths that left family and neighbors in shock.

She was a pastor. Our Aunt T was a pastor.

They were wonderful nice Christian people.

It’s like the way it happened, why did it happen that way? Why did it happen so tragic, I mean I just don’t understand why.

My Aunt T was the type of person that if you needed help or anything she was right there for you. No second words about it, she was right there. I just don’t understand.

Walter Simpson was arrested by deputies on Friday and charged with two counts of first degree murder, one count of arson, and one count of possession of a deadly weapon by a convicted felon, according to Sheriff Tucker. Simpson appeared in court over the weekend and was denied bond, authorities said. He is being held at the Madison County Detention Center. When his Facebook friends discovered that he had been arrested, they returned to his Facebook page and called him a murderer. His daughter, Tiara Simpson, attempted to defend her dad’s honor.

No motive has been established yet. It’s hard to believe that a man who called himself a man of God would chose to do such ungodly things.
