As the loved ones of beloved rapper, Nipsey Hussle, continue to mourn his death, they also have to face some time-sensitive realities that are placing some added stress on them at this time. One such matter involves the legal tug-of-war over Nipsey’s precious 10 year old daughter, Emani Ashghedom.
As ILoveOldSchoolMusic.com reported earlier, before Nipsey was murdered, he had primary custody of his daughter, whom he shares with his ex-girlfriend, Tanisha a.k.a. Chyna Hussle. Though it has never been publicly made clear why Tanisha did not share joint custody of Emani, their daughter apparently enjoyed a stable life under her Father’s care.
Therefore after his death, Nipsey’s sister, Samantha Smith (pictured above), and his Mother requested that the court allow them to help raise Emani, in attempts to maintain the familiarity of the life she was accustomed to.
However, that brings us to today (March 14th), regarding the legal battle Nipsey’s family had to face with Emani’s Mother in court. Tanisha had also informed the court that she, too, would now like to raise her biological daughter. As a result, Tanisha, Nipsey’s sister, and his brother, Blacc Sam, appeared in an emergency placement hearing for Emani on Tuesday morning, during which Tanisha reportedly ended up in tears….
