INDIANA, UNITED STATES — You can’t always eat everyone’s cooking. Sometimes, you truly don’t know what you’re being served. In this case, it allegedly was “human.”
According to Indy Star, 34-year-old Indiana woman Kelly M. Cochran reportedly mutilated her lover’s body in a planned attack with her husband, Jason Cochran.
NOTE: This supposedly happened before Kelly turned the tables on Jason as well.
LOVE AND CANNIBALS
The source mentions that Cochran admitted she and her husband lured her lover, Chris Regan, inside their home.
Once the unsuspecting man was cornered in the residence, the couple shot him and dismembered his body — all before dumping his remains in the woods.
The Indy Star mentions that Investigation Discovery is set to air Kelly’s story on May 28 and 29, via a documentary called “Dead North.” Interestingly enough, during an interview with one of Kelly’s brothers, he noted that he believed her to be a serial killer.
Too, the brother felt that she possibly feed her neighbors Regan’s body remains during a barbecue.
According to Cochran, she and her husband made a “pact” to “kill off anyone involved in their extramarital affairs.”
However, apparently, Kelly was feeling some kind of way about Jason murdering her lover. The New York Post mentions that she was angry and injected Jason with a lethal dose of heroin — before smothering him with a pillow.
She was already serving a life sentence for killing and dismembering Regan.
But also, she might be responsible for nine other deaths. Crazy, right?
Fortunately, the investigation is probing those possible murders and how they may be linked to Kelly Cochran.
According to her family, they told investigators she may have buried their bodies throughout the Midwest.
Iron River Police Chief Laura Frizzo also investigated Regan’s disappearance. While conducting interviews, Chief Frizzo said she met Kelly and her husband during the probe.
Frizzo says Kelly was having an affair with Regan, but the case went cold until Jason died in February 2016 of a “suspected overdose.” But later, it turned out that he was murdered by Kelly.
For her inhumane crimes, the source mentions that Kelly was sentenced to life in prison in May 2017 for Regan’s murder and sentenced on April 18 for her husband’s slaying.
According to the source, this particular case has taken a toll on Chief Frizzo’s career. She’s known to operate in a “bullheaded” investigation style, the news source reports. And with this in mind, she’s had various disagreements with the Iron River City Manager.
Yet, the chief remains “adamant” about this case. In particular, she feels it’s simply not solved or closed. According to the police chief, she found other “friends” who were buried in Indiana, Michigan, Tennessee, and Minnesota.
Nonetheless, the bodies’ identities, as well as their direct locations, haven’t been discovered. And, unfortunately for Frizzo, the city manager has relieved her of duties, as reports the source.
This case goes to show you never really know who’s living beside you and what atrocities their capable of committing.
Serving your ex-lover’s remains at a BBQ? That’s insane!
