Krystle Landor

New Orleans woman, 28 year-old Krystle Landor, was riding in the car with her brother and his wife when she noticed that someone was following them. As she looked closely, Landor observed that her former boyfriend, John Malveaux, was following her. This wasn’t the first time that Malveaux allegedly stalked Landor as family members shared that he regularly stalked her.

Here’s What Happened:

According to Nola.com, Mother of 3, Krystle Landor, dated 36 year-old John Malveaux for 5 years and had one child together. Their relationship didn’t work out and Landor moved on. However, Malveaux was allegedly obsessed with Landor and followed her all the time. In an effort to protect herself, Landor had a protective order against Malveaux. However, that didn’t stop him from reportedly stalking her.

Krystle Landor was a mother of 3 beautiful children.

As Landor was in a car with her brother and his wife, she observed Malveaux following her in a pickup truck as he was a passenger. She tried to get help as she called 911 to inform them that Malveaux was stalking her again. When Landor arrived to her home, Malveaux got out of the truck and approached. He then fired into the side of the car, striking Landor several times. Family members are devastated. After shooting Landor, Malveaux then shot himself and died on the scene.

He stalked her down until he killed her – like a dog, Landor’s aunt, Coradena Batiste, said to NOLA.com. The law just failed us, she said, referring to the protective order.

In an effort to save her life, Landor was taken to the hospital but tragically she died leaving behind 3 beautiful children:  9, 8 and 5. Landor’s mother, Delilah Landor, revealed that Lamdor’s children have been asking about her. Family members told the children that their mother went to Heaven.

On Sunday, around 11:00 p.m., Krystle Landor believed her ex-boyfriend, whom she had a protective order against, was in a pickup truck that followed her home.

Landor, a graduate of Fontainebleau High, obtained a degree in business from Delgado Community College in New Orleans, family members said. She held jobs at a group home in Lacombe and at Holiday Inn.

Our prayers are with the family.
