This woman thinks it’s safe to meet a guy from social media. She’s comfortable enough to consider it. But what she doesn’t consider, he’s absolutely CRAZY.
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA — You have to be extra careful when meeting someone online. Not everyone is whom they convey. Matter of fact, only a fraction is whom they actually say.
India Ali found this out the hard way.

And now, she’s trying to warn as many people as possible about the dangers of online dating.
“I wouldn’t want anybody to go and meet up with anybody that they don’t know. Please don’t ever do that. You have to value your life.”
‘He didn’t really look like a creep’…
This 32-year-old woman mentions giving Instagram user James Baker, 27, a chance last July. After talking with him for a while and looking through his profile, she felt that he wasn’t a creep.
“He looked like he had it going on,” Ali notes.
So, she says — during their date — he posted several videos of their dinner and drinks. They were enjoying themselves, according to the woman.
However, in all their “joy,” she didn’t exactly remember the latter part of the night.
According to KTLA-5 News, she didn’t remember leaving the restaurant. Also, she can’t tell you how she ended up back in his hotel room at the Westin LAX.
Ali woke in a real nightmarish situation. The source quotes Ali as follows.
“It was horrible. I woke up. I lifted my head up. I was lying in a puddle of throw up. So I look around and I see blood everywhere and my clothes everywhere.”
After seeing blood, she saw herself in the mirror, and it was nothing less than shocking. Immediately, she wanted to get out of there before her abuser came back to kill her.
She was a beaten, bloody mess.
The source reports that she called 911 and determined — for the record — she was severely injured.
Once medical personnel arrived, she was taken to Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center.
Los Angeles County Deputy District Attorney David Berger mentions that Ali had severe brain swelling.
“She had been punched in the head so badly that it had caused a swelling in the brain. The brain, when it expands, has nowhere to go so it forces down – and that’s what triggers the vomit action. It pressures the fourth vertebrae.”
They found him…
KTLA-5 New says Ali’s phone and car keys were missing from the scene. So, authorities used the Find My iPhone app to track her phone’s location.
That’s when they found Baker down the street, at Courtyard Los Angeles LAX in El Segundo.
Baker was arrested; this was on July 21, 2016.
The reports indicate that Baker was recorded leaving the Westin hotel in Ali’s car around 2 a.m., on the morning she was assaulted.
According to the source, this man even had prior out-of-state convictions on fake credit card usages. Supposedly, he was out on bail during the time of their date.
As regards his current charges, KTLA reports as follows.
“At the Airport Courthouse on April 14, Baker was found guilty of felony assault, auto theft and use of forged credit cards. He is being held at the downtown L.A. Men’s Central Jail, with a sentencing hearing scheduled for June 5.”
Absolutely cray, right?
